MASTERS SEASON 2007

Each year we run a series of workshops by international master-practitioners for a group of twelve locally based emergent artists. This year they include Derevo, Cois Ceim (in collaboration with Auora Nova Touring); Charles Perriere & Malik Diouf – two of the creators of Parkour; Teatro Della Contraddizione of Milan, and Maja Mitic of Belgrade’s Dah Teatar who will also present her work process demonstration to the public. Following these workshops participants will present their own site-specific performance on the 23rd and 24th of November in the North Laines.

A note about the Tuning Score: Essentially a communication format, the tools of the tuning score make apparent the ways the players sense and make sense of movement, exposing their opinions and initiating a dialogue about space, time, action, and the desire to compose experience. The movement is unknown to the performers until the moment of action.

GO is produced in cooperation with Contact Collaborations, Inc. www.contactcollaborations.com and presented by Movement 12
