Queen of the SlaughterProdigal's physical poem on the relationship between ideology and conflict will premiere at the Assembly Aurora Nova from the 2nd - 27th of August (except the 7th and 14th) as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Urban Playground
Prodigal's Urban Playground Team have been commissioned by the Dublin Fringe Festival to create a new performance along with Charles Perriere and Malik Diouf of Gravity Style and the Yamakasi (the originators of Parkour) and members of the Dublin Parkour community performing on the 14th and 15th of September. Combining L'art Du Deplacement (or free-running) with comtemporary dance and breaking the UPG Team create breathtaking choreography examining the relationship of the human body & the built environment. Alongside continuous workshops and performances including taking part in the opening event of the European Indoor Athletic Championships the UPG Team are now in discussions regading the Cultural Olympiad in 2012.
