Queen of the Slaughter

Prodigal's physical poem on the relationship between ideology and conflict will premiere at the Assembly Aurora Nova from the 2nd - 27th of August (except the 7th and 14th) as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The preview performances at the Komedia Theatre (Brighton Fringe 2007) won an Argus Angel for Artistic Excellence. For more details see the Prodigal Theatre page above.

The Urban Playground

Prodigal's Urban Playground Team have been commissioned by the Dublin Fringe Festival to create a new performance along with Charles Perriere and Malik Diouf of Gravity Style and the Yamakasi (the originators of Parkour) and members of the Dublin Parkour community performing on the 14th and 15th of September. Combining L'art Du Deplacement (or free-running) with comtemporary dance and breaking the UPG Team create breathtaking choreography examining the relationship of the human body & the built environment.

Alongside continuous workshops and performances including taking part in the opening event of the European Indoor Athletic Championships the UPG Team are now in discussions regading the Cultural Olympiad in 2012.

The Tragedian Trilogy

The multi-award winning Tragedian makes it's Irish debut this year with the Tragedian Part 1 playing at the Back Loft, Dublin, each night from the 10th - 13th of September and the full trilogy will play in a day there on the 16th.

The Tragedian Trilogy has been performed in 7 countries across Eastern, Western and Central Europe winning critical acclaim wherever it has gone.

In 2005 it won "Best Actor" at the Brighton Festival Fringe and a Three Weeks Editors award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it was also nominated for Best Actor at the Stage Awards for Acting Excellence.
